Abhijit Mollick was born in Kolkata, 1974. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art (B.V.A) from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, 1998. and Master’s degree in Visual Art (M.V.A) from Rabindra Bharati University in 2001.Mollick has participated in many art exhibitions solos and in groups across India.
He paints on various subjects, such as, folk culture, women nudes, series of Buddha, human depictions along with animals, birds and different motifs in his compositions. Aesthetic and spiritual—both sides of a personal touch are present. He uses various mediums, like, acrylics, pastels, watercolours etc. with soft, bright and subtle colour palette.
Abhijit Mollick lives and works in Kolkata.
