Amal Nath Chakaldhar was in Bangladesh, 1936, Graduated from Government school of Calcutta. He was an Indian artist, who did not inspire and painted by Indian classical and mythological subjects. His work often explores themes of cultural identity, social issues, and human emotions. He used a variety of materials and methods to capture the beauty of his subjects. His careful brushstrokes reveal tiny details in his small descriptive works, showing how much he cares about his work. He taught at the Government college of Art & Culture, Calcutta.
Amal Nath Chakaldhar passed away in 2021.
