Om Pal Sansanwal was born in 1964, is Delhi based artist. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Govt. College of Arts and Carfts, Kolkata. Sansanwal's works are easily identified by the convoluted labyrinth-like maze of colours through which he depicts his larger themes. He blends human figures seamlessly into geometric shapes, showing how nature and humanity are connected. His artworks encourage viewers to explore and uncover the deeper meanings behind these intertwined elements. The paintings comprise mostly acrylic and pen and ink on canvas or watercolours and pen and ink on canvas. He received a national award in 2002. His works have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions across India.
